Sadiki was a young boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that, whenever he lost his temper, he should hammer a nail into fence. For the first day, the boy had hammered 37 nails. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of animals hammered went down gradually. He discovered that it was easier to hold his temper than to hammer the nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it. The father took his son to the fence and said, well done my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never look the same again. When you say things in anger, they leave scars just like these ones.
