JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Commissioner General of Immigration by virtue of the authority vested in me under Regulation No.
11(1) of the Immigration Regulations of 2018, hereby announces the recruitment of
New Immigration Constables for Tanzanian Youths with the following qualifications:-
1. QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
i. Be a citizen of Tanzania;
ii. Be unemployed or have never been employed by any Government Institution;
iii. Have a Birth Certificate;
iv. Have a National Identity Card or an identification number issued by
the National Identification Authority (NIDA);
v. Be in good physical and mental health.
vi. Have never used drugs;
vii. Have no record or information of involvement in criminal or criminal matters or incidents;
viii. Have no marks or drawings (Tattoos) on his body;
ix. Be unmarried or unmarried and have no child;
x. An applicant with Form Four Education should have qualifications ranging from Class One (1) to Class Three (3) and be between 18 and 22 years of age, an applicant with a Diploma or Diploma should be between 18 and 25 years of age and an applicant with a Bachelor’s/Higher Diploma should be between 18 and 30 years of age.
xi. Be willing to attend the initial Military Immigration training.
xii. Be willing to work for the Immigration Department anywhere in Tanzania.
xiii. Be willing to finance all stages of the monitoring and implementation of the Employment exercise.
